"Celia the Queen", a documentary film project I've been involved with has been selected for The Tribeca Film Festival. I worked on the poster artwork and was interviewed for the film, along with my father. The film is about the life of the Cuban singer Celia Cruz. Here is the film's website: celiathequeen.com

Often times work goes smooth, but sometimes it feels like everything goes wrong. Three finished illustration job got killed this months, which doesn't happen often. They were mostly because of clients' direction change. Oh well,what can I do? And here is one of them, a poster to teach teen girls safe sex and AIDS prevention. It was, obviously, not for the US market. At least I got to draw something I would have never drawn otherwise. |
