This image was chosen for the current Communication Arts Illustration Annual.  It was originally published in West magazine, illustrating a fiction story about a couple going through a separation.  The image was also chosen for the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration annuals.  More of my conceptual work can be seen here.

I created this piece for the summer issue of Standford Medicine magazine. The article discusses the factors that contribute to the increasing levels of breast cancer in women, and how some women are enveloping themselves in a false sense of "pink campaign" protection while continuing to make poor lifestyle choices. Dennis McLeod was the art director.

 I took a fresh look at a very popular california hamburger chain logo and made something useful ... happy fourth.
