For Paris-based Payot-Rivages I recently did three takes for a cover for a new novel by Valérie Gans: Charity Bizness.  It  appears to be an English title, but it's an Americanism used by the author to give it a certain appeal.  I appreciate jobs like this in which I can mix my illustration, my calligraphy, and design; it makes for a unified whole that seems (to me, anyway) entirely natural.

I was honored to collaborate with Hambly and Woolley Design on this poster for the Canadian National Magazine Awards. It's the 30th anniversary and illustration is up front and center.
