I recently completed this "portrait" of Mike Peters, leader of the Church of Indianapolis (CII), a religious group that has become increasingly cult-like in its behavior and secrecy. In fact, they're so elusive that there are virtually no photos of Peters to be found, and the neighborhood where he and other members live has signs posted warning strangers that they're unwelcome. The article is appropriately entitled "Warning Signs".

Each year I do the advertising images for The San Francisco Contemporary Music Players. Much of the work is calligraphic, or what I call calligraphic: frequently that means cut paper, paint, and photography.
