In reference to Katherine Streeter's entry (below) I've refused to be categorized: I'm sort of bi-pet-ual. Every time I see a cute little pussy, I have to stroke it; and when a good-looking dog comes around, I can't resist petting. Recently I sent out a promo of this reading cat and am now working on a cover for a cat book, 25 spots for a dog book, 7-12 illustrations of dogs for Men's Health---it just doesn't stop. And who would want it to? As subjects, pets are much preferable to humans. (Check out the animals section of my website.)

I'm making paintings of cats lately, which is interesting because I'm really
more of a dog person than a cat person.
Its been fun though!

I recently finished illustrating a young adult novel for the Korean market, Red Kayak for Darim Publishing. I love working on a job like this, a job with many drawings, because one really gets to explore the text and get into the mood of the novel. I did over 50 illustrations for it!

My Alma Mater, Parsons School of Design NYC, commissioned this poster for their admissions program, but the project was killed without ever running.
