Behind the Curtain Wednesday, 04 November 2009 Book review " the Real Wizard of Oz ". The article's author reflects on the durability of the fable and believes that the explanation lies in the simple coexistence of nostalgia and futurism. Since this was commissioned for Los Angeles magazine , I was asked to recreate the emerald city using LA architecture. art director: Lisa Lewis  Floria Wednesday, 04 November 2009 I haven't uploaded any images for quite sometime, it's been a busy summer and even busier fall teaching the illustration thesis program at OCAD. here is " Floria " a custom kokeshi for a show this past summer in LA at the Japanese American National Museum.
