Chapter Two Thursday, 10 September 2009  This was commissioned for an essay by a 50-yr old woman who left her secure job for the thrill of moving to a different city and starting a new life. But this was just as the recession hit last year, and the only job she could find was working in Anthropologie, where she takes orders from her 25-yr old superiors. For Rent Saturday, 22 November 2008 This was for the NYT, for a story about missing out on deeper friendships with neighborhood workers whose businesses have closed. I think it's a good stand-alone image on the state of our flailing economy.
